Glamourously stumbling to 50 is a blog site on how i’m attempting to reach the age of 50, relatively unscathed and ready to take on the next decade.
A self employed late 40’s mother and wife, with a slight obsession for beauty products. A lover of fashion and design, who before having kids, had the advantage of spending lunchtimes browsing the floors of Liberty and Selfridges, but after a dramatic life and career change, went from high heels to flip flops and now find myself lucky if I’m able to grab 10 minutes to browse the Top Shop website! Whistles went out of the window a long time ago!
I’m accepting the inevitable and taking control (or trying to). My website covers all things that are the make-up of my life now, and moving forward. All opinions are my own, I am not a beauty therapist, nutritionist, designer, chef or hairdresser – even if I sometimes like to think I am! But I am interested and at times dabble in all of them, and do have friends who are actually some of them!
This is where I air my thoughts, opinions, and general stuff that’s going on in my life that I find interesting or that make me laugh. I have an active imagination and like to write stuff down. I also play with photography. Both of which will end up here, where anyone who wants to can see.
To get the story on how I got to where I am now, you can click on the link below. I hope you enjoy the blog, and if not, never mind as I’ve enjoyed writing it anyway!
